PRESS RELEASE

On Monday, February 8th, 2010, Investigators with the Tate County Sheriff's Department arrested Thomas E. Riley of Cherry Tree Lane, Coldwater Mississippi in connection with a residential burglary in the county. Riley was picked up in Memphis, TN by the U.S. Marshal's Service and transported back to the Tate County Jail. Further investigation has linked Riley to nine additional burglaries in Tate County as well as several in Desoto County. The investigation is continuing and additional charges are expected. All of these residential burglaries involved the theft of jewelry, weapons and electronics.
