March 8-12, 2010 Tate County Jail Construction Project

Tate County Sheriff Brad Lance, along with other Tate County Officials, will host an Open House daily at 1 Justice Drive, Senatobia, Mississippi from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.  This Open House is for the public to view the completion of Phase One of a two phase construction project. 

Upon completion of phase one, all inmates in the old jail will be transferred to the new facility.  Phase two of this project will include completion of the second half of the new jail facility.  This phase is scheduled to begin in late April 2010.  When completed, the Tate County Jail Construction Project will bring to fruition the housing of 164 inmates, with 31 beds for females. 

The Open House will include informative guided tours of the new facility.   We invite you to come and talk with us and ask questions.  Chaplain Pennington will be on hand to facilitate the tours and answer questions concerning the project and facility.
